Do we recommend our Greek yoghurt?

OSM Krasnystaw produces a variety of dairy products, including natural yoghurt and Greek yoghurt. Natural yoghurt is obtained from whole, partially or fully skimmed milk by adding the special strains of bacteria to it that are responsible for the fermentation of the milk and give the product its characteristic taste. Usually these are Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp. Bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus acidophilus. The mass thickens over time and can be stored longer in the refrigerator. The taste and texture of the yoghurt depend on the type of bacterial strain. In  case of the Greek yoghurt the product is thick, sour, and has a greater amount of fat than natural yoghurt. It is not a bad thing. In more fatty yoghurts the content of vitamins A and D i.e. fat-soluble increases. They support the absorption of calcium that is why Greek yoghurt is really valuable. The protein content of Greek type yoghurts is also higher. This is due to the manufacturing process. In addition, there is a lot of calcium in it. Eating yoghurt ensures much more effective absorption of iron and vitamins, thus supporting and optimizing the work of the intestines. It is worth reaching for it to strengthen immunity, but most of all because it is simply delicious.

The use of Greek yoghurt in the kitchen

Greek cuisine is famous not only for its delicious taste and simplicity but above all for being healthy. Greeks enjoy long life, well-being, and eat large amounts of dairy specialties. If you have Greek yoghurt in your kitchen you can make salad dressings based on it, which, compared to mayonnaise-based sauces, will be much less caloric. You can combine Greek yoghurt with avocado, garlic, chives, cucumber, vinegar, lemon juice and of course, olive oil. It is perfect for many vegetable salads, but also sweet. Greek yoghurt tastes good with honey, fruits and nuts and dried fruits and will replace caloric ice cream after a short frosting.

Where can you find our Greek yoghurt?

We work with suppliers, restaurants and all recipients of our products who appreciate their taste and know that they are popular among consumers.
